A FA Youth Cup match called off last night after a player suffered a “cardiac arrest” on pitch

Fans were asked to leave the game between West Bridgford FC Colts and Boston United after the horror incident.

A young player is believed to have received medical attention after collapsing on the pitch

The game was taking place at Regatta Way, home to the Colts, in Gamston, Nottinghamshire.

Witnesses claimed the player was given “multiple” shocks from a defibrillator, but remained unresponsive.

The youngster, a member of West Bridgford Colts squad, was rushed to Queen’s Medical Centre after three ambulances raced to the scene.

A statement from the club said: "We can confirm that there was a medical incident tonight during our FA Youth Cup game against Boston United.

"Emergency services were called out to our Regatta Way Ground after a player became seriously unwell and they are now undergoing treatment in hospital.

Jonathan Van Tam is a fan of Boston United and personally vaccinated members of the senior team. It is not yet known whether the (as yet unnamed) youth player died or had been vaccinated

Is this another the long line of sporting athletes who have succumbed to illness, injury or death following Covid-19 Vaccinations?
